How to Counter-Attack Satan’s Attacks Against You!

Once we accept Christ as our personal Savior, the adversary who is satan, will increase his attacks on our lives. The question then is “What shall we do or how must we counter-attack satan’s attacks against us?” The answer begins when we come to understand who the enemy is. St John 10:10a states, “The thief cometh not but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy”. Satan desires to gain benefits through every device he uses against God’s children. Ignorance and blindness to the truth are just a few of his devices which have great power when they are activated in the life of a believer. Hosea 4:6a states, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. On the other hand, when the believer submits, turn to God, and pray He gives us power to overcome the attacks of enemy. St John 10:10b states, “I am come that they might have life and that they might have life more abundantly.
God has given the believer spiritual weapons for the attacks that satan bring. To name a few: 1. The Word of God (reading, studying, & meditating) 2. Prayer and Fasting 3. Praise & Worship
If you are under attack from the enemy, satan, do not fret nor give in to his schemes because the victory lies within you as a child of God. Behold, I give to you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you(Luke 10:19). You shall not be defeated!
